The Church Army and London Slums Mitchell Dagley

The Dickens Dictionary to London was written by Charles Dickens Junior, et al and aimed to offer people an unconventional guide around the streets of London.
By promising that ever statement and every recommendation that was “put forth [was] either as a result of experience or on perfectly trustworthy authority” (Dickens, 1879, preface), it can be suggested that it offers a unique insight into 19th century Britain.
